TIMES Supermarkets was founded by brothers Albert and Wallace Teruya. Since opening their first store in 1949, TIMES has grown to include 24 supermarket locations which includes 17 TIMES locations, 5 Big Save Markets, a small-format supermarket on the East Side of Oahu (Shima’s Supermarket), a fine wine + specialty foods shop (Fujioka’s Wine Times), and 12 pharmacy locations.
TIMES Supermarkets supports local food, and local food producers, and is a strong supporter of Hawaii’s fishing industry and it’s efforts to keep Hawaiʻi seafood sustainable. TIMES Seafood Counters offer the highest quality fresh local seafood, with over 30 varieties of poke and auction-fresh seafood. TIMES Seafood Counters are now open at 18 TIMES locations on Oahu, Kauai, and Maui with more locations coming soon!
This October, join the Hawaii Seafood Council and Conservation International in celebrating Hawaiʻi Seafood Month, a month long event highlighting Hawai'i seafood and the fishers, restaurants, retailers, and seafood businesses committed to sustainable, local seafood and vibrant fishing communities across our paeʻaina.
